Sanctioned Agility Trial August 6-8, 2010 Broadalbin, NY (2 fully enclosed rings outside on grass) Our judges will be David Hanson and Jean MacKenzie Download the premium in Adobe format Eagle Mills Cider Mill site layout Catalog August 5 - a special note from Jeff Boyer, trial chair: "Hi, Exhibitors (makes you feel like you're an "artiste" displaying your work in a gallery, huh?) This is a small trial with a small number of competitors, so we will need all hands on deck to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. To make things work best, we will have everyone sign up for what classes and what jobs they would like to work during the trial. The signup sheets will be posted in the pavilion each day. We will be issuing $2 coupons good toward the entry fees for a future AgileDogs trial for each class that you work. We will also have a last class raffle each day. Our Chief Ring Stewards will be Cassi Isachsen and Lisa Norris. Don't make them come looking for you. Thanks in advance for all of your help in making this a successful trial. Jeff Boyer Trial Chair Debbie Wlodarski Trial Secretary" August 3 Confirmations have gone out!
Hello, Exhibitors!
Some important notes:
JUDGE CHANGES:
Because the number of entries is lower than expected, we have decided to go
with a two-ring, one judge format.
Jean MacKenzie will judge all classes on Friday, and Dave Hanson will
judge all classes on Saturday and Sunday.
To keep things moving, the classes originally scheduled to be judged
by Greg Beck will be built in one ring, while those designed by Dave will be
built and run in the other ring.
Exhibitors are reminded that if they take training classes with Ms.
MacKenzie, they are not allowed to run in the additional trial classes she
will be judging due to this change if they were in those training classes
within 10 days prior to this event.
PLEASE double check your entry information below carefully! Corrections and
changes must be sent to
honeysampson@yahoo.com by noon, Wednesday, August 4, 2010.
Corrections made after August 4th will be subject to a $5
change fee, no matter whose mistake it is.
EAGLE MILLS FUN PARK DETAILS: 1.
It is absolutely required that you pick up after your dog.
Failure to do so will result in being excused from the trial. 2.
Bring your own chairs and shade. 3.
There is a creek and hiking
trail on the park grounds, as well as a pond. 4.
Remember that ticks abound in this area, so be sure to check your
dogs for ticks, especially if you walk them in the woods. 5.
Cars must
be parked in designated areas, and may not be driven around the rings after
the general briefing each day.
TRIAL FORMAT:
Two 100’
x 100’ rings will be used. We
will alternate between rings.
Conflicts are inevitable, but we will make sure you never miss a run, so
don't panic! Every conflict will be accommodated as long as you tell
the gate stewards that you have a conflict. Electronic timing will be
used in both rings.
